Anthological exhibition of sketches and dresses
by the Maestro
Renato balestra is one of the most important international couturiers, his unique style, which combines elegance with timeless refinement, is the representation of the history of Made in Italy in the world. His creations are real works of art, unique items, worn by important personalities: queens, princesses, First Ladies, show men and women, business leaders and fully- fledged lovers of beauty. Style and elegance for Balestra are synonymous with harmony, a continuous search for measure and balance, always accompanied by a touch of madness that always distinguishes his creative flair.
Maison Balestra is still one of the few italian companies to keep family tradition combined with a strongly managerial framework: fashion and style tradition through an entrepreneurship looking to the future. Hence the need to tell, through an exhibition/event, the story of a myth, a personality, a well eclectic artist. Thus celeblueation is born.
An anthological exhibition made up of more than 250 sketches and dresses chosen personally by the maestro among the thousands created during his career to represent the milestones of a worldwide success. Among them the drawings that the designer created for famous pieces of theatre: rossini's cinderella, cinderella (tournee broadway/asia), strauss's the knight of the rose, puccini's turandot. This section dedicated to the theatre is enriched by the exhibition of the costumes from tchaikovsky's swans lake, the last creation of the couturier, made for the opera theatre in belgrade: here, for the first time, the maestro was committed also in scenography implementation.
The Celeblueation vernissages include:
- Press conference with an exhibition preview
- Welcome cocktail
- Concert in honor of the couturier
- Anthological runway show
- Gala dinner
During the Celebuation the shooting of the movie "Volevo fare il musicista", biopic of couturier's life, began and will continue in the next national and international stages.
This is just the beginning of a new adventure that, following the multiannual successes, promises to be explosive and destined to remain in the history, as well the Maestro Balestra.
